The Marine Mammal Center sincerely appreciates and proudly recognizes the generous support received from donors who are helping ensure a healthy ocean for marine mammals and humans alike.
Together, we are advancing global ocean conservation through marine mammal rescue and rehabilitation, scientific research, and education.
From being a voice for marine mammals through our world-class clinical activities to expanding our understanding of our ocean’s health to inspiring young ocean stewards, the achievements highlighted in this report are only possible because of your support. Your commitment allows us to continue making a meaningful impact for our planet and its inhabitants. Thank you for joining us in our mission to advance global ocean conservation.
Thank you for your dedication to advancing our mission and supporting the people behind it. It certainly takes a village to make these successes possible, and you are a key member of our village. Thank you again for all of your support—I deeply value your commitment to this critical conservation work and look forward to what we will accomplish together in the future.
Thanks to your generosity, we are able to continue responding to Hawaiian monk seals on Hawai‘i Island and on Maui. By being out in the field, we are able to educate the public on the monk seals’ importance to Hawai‘i, assess their health and transport them to our hospital should they need care. All of these things are critical in the conservation of this species, and we are so grateful to have your support to be able to do them!
Thanks to your contributions, youth all over the country have grown their skills to advocate for our ocean. Their leadership will continue to make positive impacts for the health of our planet, inspiring hope in our staff, volunteers and visitors at the Center. Thank you for your support!
Our ocean is undergoing rapid change, and the conservation and protection of marine mammals has never been more important than now. There is a lot to learn in order to understand the effects of these changes, and because of your support we can conduct critical research and share that information through publications, education and outreach to further ocean conservation.
Every week I get to help rescue and care for sick and injured marine mammals. The animals get a second chance at life in the wild, and we get to learn from them how to take better care of our ocean. Everyone benefits, and we couldn’t do any of it without your help. Thank you so much.
Careful stewardship of our financial resources is key to increasing our impact in the face of ongoing marine mammal health threats and a rapidly changing ocean environment.
